GF Jaffa cake

this is a gluten free chocolate cake and I added orange rind and orange juice , hence turning it into a Jaffa cake and it tasted yummo….. if I may say so

it’s also my 1st attempt at a chocolate wrap so I was pleasantly pleased with the outcome.

made for a family member’s b’day .. that why is gf so I could have some as well.

50th Birthday cake

My good friend a running buddy was turning the big 50….and I had the honour of making a cake for his surprise birthday tea that was arranged by Rach.

So my brief was his running, minke the cat, and a motorbike all had to go into this cake…as those are Dazza’s favourite things..

The cake itself is a gluten free chocolate mudcake , with ganache and then decorated with fondant. ( so I could have a piece too )

 

this was the end result…..

 

But I also want too add a post about the making of the decorations as they took me about 15 hrs over the course of a week to make the bike etc

Foral Rustic Vintage Wedding Cake

This week I had the honour of making this wedding cake for Candice.
The cakes are chocolate mud cake tier 1 and 3 and tier 2 is white chocolate mud cake.
There’s chocolate ganache between the chocolate mud cakes and then white chocolate icing between tier 2 and then the whole cake is covered with the white chocolate icing and done in a textured form……
All the flowers and leaves are all made from gumpaste ….
